Having spent a large part of my life living and working as an artist in Mallorca, I am now at home - literally and figuratively - based in West Sussex where I am evolving and honing my artistic style.   My inspiration comes from the beautiful countryside of the South Downs and my magical memories of the Mediterranean. I am influenced by the romance of pre-Raphaelite art and the light and colour of impressionist art; I love blurring this appreciation into my abstract paintings. I believe “every artist dips his brush in his own soul, and paints his own nature into his pictures” (H W Beecher).
